Iggy Pop Becomes World's Most Terrifying Children's Toy?

There's a new action figure coming to toy store shelves which will immortalize the singer in plastic... just what children nationwide have always hoped for! Seriously, what is this thing doing at Toys R Us? And whygodwhy did the toy manufacturers give us the 63-year-old Iggy over the youthful 20-something Iggy who started strutting his stuff on stage with The Stooges in the '60s?

The man has been going full force even in his older age, so we'll just assume this is an homage to his endurance. Either way, you can now pre-order on Toys R Us for just $14.99

The $24163.88 Bike

Being a cyclist and having a love for bikes made me want to post this its one of those rare items that comes along and grabs you by your creative thoughts and say what will they think of next and why didn't I think of it?

The much anticipated “Velo” bike by Pharrell Williams for Domeau & Pérès has been released today. 26 colors, each limited to only 1.

“The idea came in 2009 after a visit to the Brooklyn Machine Works shop by Pharrell, Bruno Domeau & Philippe Pérès : the bicycle’s frame and fork are hand made out at the Brooklyn Machine workshop of 4130 chromemoly seamless airplane grade steel tubing.

After that, the bike is shipped to Domeau & Pérès in Paris where it’s upholstered in fine leather of water buffalo. All the stitching work is handmade : it takes them over 100 man hours.

Bikes are available in a variety of 26 colors, but each color is an edition of one and once purchased that color choice will no longer be available.”

Pharrell has all the cool Toy's!!

Simplicity is Key!!!

I was given the the opportunity to do a photo shoot with the guys over at doubleplusdope.net Theses guys are great and made me feel at ease. Here's the write up.

The older we get, the less we are attracted to the trends. The love of street wear hasn’t left us, but has evolved. A simple green zip-up hoodie gives you that “pop” in order to stand out, but the fact that its all one color keeps us like moths to a flame. Subtle pieces of clothing is also what makes us stand out, the argyle wool socks, are not only great visually, but the practicality is like no other. Keeps your feet warm during the winter and absorbs the sweat from your feet in the summer. Wool socks are a must have in your closet ( or sock drawer).

The Non-matching element of this outfit is what style is all about. A coordination of pieces and not perfectly matching everything, like a uniform.

Serious Eye Wear!!!

This Persol frame is bold and fun.  Persol sunglasses are a classic brand with classic looks. The lenses are clear and distortion-free with polarized lenses. This frame is very well crafted and heavy. Trust me If there good enough for Steve McQueen there good enough for me.

April Style Icon.

Lord Glenconner
Colin Tennant, 3rd Baron Glenconner, was famous for having fun. And who can criticise a guy for that? He bought the West Indian island of Mustique - most of us make do with just booking a hotel - and transformed it into a multimillionaires' playground in the late 1960s. A gregarious host, and close friend of Princess Margaret, Glenconner dressed like the quintessential tropical patriarch, peppering his wardrobe with bright colours, tunics and wide-brimmed hats. And it somehow worked.
